Organic solar cells
Exhibits: Unlike silicon solar cells, organic solar cells (OPV) are lightweight, semi-transparent and fully sustainable, offering new possibilities for easy integration on large scale.
The organic solar cells have improved to such an extent in efficiency and durability that the paper-thin solar cells now face their first major commercial breakthrough. From our activities, we demonstrate research and development of lab-scale cells, scale-up to OPV modules made from fully industrial compatible processes, along with examples of fully commercial OPV that can be utilized in various new ways, from suncurtains to window integrated solar cells.
Workshop: We help you to prepare your own solar cells from berries in this workshop for young people.
